Partners


Christine Woods PT,OCS,MTC

Chris is one of three partners in Fox Chapel Physical Therapy and is an ABPTS Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy with more than 25 years of experience. Chris has a special interest in pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence treatment for men and women, as well as the treatment of spinal dysfunction and foot and ankle injuries.

Chris earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Temple University and gained her certification in Manual Therapy through the University of St. Augustine. She worked at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, St. Margaret Memorial Hospital, CORE NETWORK, and as an independent contractor prior to joining the Fox Chapel Physical Therapy staff in 1997. Chris has completed extensive continuing education, participating in presentations, seminars, and symposia throughout the United States.


Gregory Campbell PT

Greg is one of three partners in Fox Chapel Physical Therapy and has been an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS) Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. With more than 22 years of experience, Greg focuses on a full range of sports and orthopedic cases and has a special interest in knee, shoulder, and elbow injuries.

Greg began his career as an athletic trainer with the Texas Rangers Baseball Club. Prior to joining Fox Chapel Physical Therapy in 2002, Greg served as both a physical therapist and coordinator of the Sports Medicine Center at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital. He earned two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Community Health Education and Physical Therapy from Ohio University and has completed coursework toward a Master’s Degree in Public Management at Carnegie Mellon University. As an active member of the community, Greg has provided first aid and athletic training services to various athletic benefit events and athletic tournaments in our region, including the Pittsburgh Marathon.

Nanette Bennett PT

Nan is one of three partners in Fox Chapel Physical Therapy and has been an ABPTS Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. With more than 20 years of experience, Nan specializes in treating a full range of sports and orthopedic cases and has extensive experience treating professional dancers and college and high school athletes.

Nan earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Florida International University and spent seven years at St. Margaret Memorial Hospital before joining the staff at Fox Chapel Physical Therapy in 2000. She previously provided physical therapy services to the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, and served as an athletic trainer with the Pittsburgh Harlequins Rugby Club, several area high schools, athletic tournaments, and benefit events, including the Pittsburgh Steelers 5K Scholarship Benefit Race.

Staff

Karlene M. Allen DPT, ATC

Karly joined Fox Chapel Physical Therapy in 2006 and specializes in working with the spine, vertigo, and sports-related injuries. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a minor in Dance from Kent State University and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University in 2006. Karly has conducted research on dance-related injuries, which she has presented at regional conferences. She is also a certified level one Pilates instructor.

Christi Niggel DPT

Christi first came to Fox Chapel Physical Therapy as a physical therapy aide in 1999 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Pennsylvania State University. She completed both her Master and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees at Chatham College and specializes in treating patients with vertigo and dizziness, as well as general orthopedics, with a special interest in osteopathic approaches to spinal dysfunction. Christi worked as a physical therapist at Keystone Rehabilitation Systems in McMurray, PA before rejoining the staff in 2004.

Kerry J. Amodio DPT

Kerry joined Fox Chapel Physical Therapy in 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine from the University of Dayton, her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton. Kerry has more than 24 years of experience as a physical therapist and specializes in women’s health, treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction and related conditions. She previously served as Director of Women’s Health Services at Physical Therapy Options, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a certified Pilates instructor.
